Carole Sandhu BSc (Hons) MSc RD – Companion Animal Nutritionist
Carole is a Companion Animal Nutritionist. She has an Honours Degree in Nutrition and a Master’s Degree in Sports Science and worked for over 25 years a Registered Dietitian. Further postgraduate studies have enabled her to specialise in Canine Nutrition and she now runs her own company, The Dog Dietitian (www.dogdietitian.co.uk). She uses her wealth of knowledge and experience to take an all-encompassing approach to the health of dogs throughout their life-stages, advising pet parents on optimum nutrition for puppies, adult dogs, older dogs, sporting/working dogs and dogs with existing medical conditions in need of therapeutic diets.
Carole works as an independentadvisor to pet food companies advising on product formulation and writing copy for client educational materials. Carole retains her independent status and is not affiliated to any pet company. She advises journalists, researching and writing copy for all aspects of canine nutrition and writes the monthly feature article on nutrition for Edition Dog Magazine.
She has a Certificate in Canine Behaviour and Psychology and is a member of the ICSP and ICAN and is currently studying Clinical Canine Massage Therapy.
